Latkes

Ingredients

  • 6-8 potatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 small onion
  • Oil to fry latkes

Directions

  1. Peel potatoes. Keep them in water until ready to use to keep from turning brown.
  2. Grate potatoes and onions. Mix all ingredients together.
  3. Heat oil. Fry potatoes by the spoonful until brown on each side.
